Want to Read Currently Reading Read. I recommend it to anyone who is sure that they know who they are and, moreover, consider themselves comfortable with their station in life.
Several of her works have been turned into films and she was fh subject of a recent biography, Why This World, by Benjamin Moser. Also, the author Lispector definitely plays around a lot with words in extremely unconventional ways, but she also paradoxically uses that unconventionality to demonstrate how weak and useless words can be in describing existence itself, as well as some of life’s most fundamental elements, such as love.
The family Clarice Lispector was a Brazilian writer. And I think something like that is going on here. As opposed to most literature, the narrator is not important as a human subject, but rather as a mode to express ideas that are beyond and above the human.
