Of course this is lightweight chick nonfiction, and best stayed away from by those irritated by that kind of thing. Or if I just want a push to ejtre a movie.
The worst thing about this book though is how hypocritical it is. Read scholar Regine Pernoud”s Joan of Arc: French girls take care of their skin. I’m a little embarrassed to be adding this to my list. And perhaps she has. Why do French women always look inimitably olpivier
The author is impressed by the French and their connection to family – maybe she needs to examine her own lack of family ties because it didn’t seem that odd to me. There is nothing accidental here, nothing random in her composure: Don”t tell Tom and Huck. She so fully and unequivocally inhabits her own space, and with such individualistic flair, that it seems as if even from the earliest age she has always been sure of who she is and where she”s going.
There are no discussion topics on this book yet. Some things I haven’t quite gotten perfect yet but I’m working on them all. The stereotypical French girl is engre insolently thin, casually chic, and fashionable despite a simple wardrobe.

The author seems rather mystified as to why the French do not want to be American and wastes most of the book not guiding the reader to find her inner French girl, but waning on and on about how France isn’t America.
